Guitar sheet music

Guitar sheet music became much more popular than ever when rock 'n roll came to the center of pop culture. During the 1970s teenagers purchased tons of guitar sheet music so they could learn the extended solos on hits like Stairway to Heaven. Guitar sheet music then became a regular fixture in music stores and record stores.

You can find guitar sheet music for every genre. While rock 'n roll sheet music still leads the way for sales, sheet music is available for jazz and classical as well. In addition to finding sheet music with melodies, you can find sheet music with improvised solos written out that you can perform.

Guitar sheet music is different from many other instrumental notation because it includes chords. Sheet music is often organized by difficulty of chord level. If you are having trouble learning fingerings, contact an instructor for help.
